As we enter winter’s dreariest stretch, it’s tempting to stay in with Netflix and flannel PJs. But we suggest moving your tuchas for Beyond Bubbie’s Kitchen. Presented by the Jewish Arts Collaborative, the celebration of Jewish food is taking a Sephardic theme in its eighth year, serving fresh takes on Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavors courtesy of spots like Mamaleh’s Delicatessen, Whole Heart Provisions, Juliet and the Fireplace, where chef Jim Solomon is working on a dish dubbed “The Spanish Inquisition Remembered” with garlicky cocido de garbanzo and spinach over couscous. Ruka, Backbar, Privateer Rum, Jack’s Abby and Citizen Cider will provide the booze, so head to the Back Bay Events Center for a nosh on Feb. 26.
