Boston Pickle Fair

You’ll find yourself in quite the pickle if you head down to the Seaport the last Saturday in June—but that’s not a bad thing. Here’s the dill: The inaugural Boston Pickle Fair will bring together more than 20 local pickle makers and fermentation experts for an outdoor, country fair-style festival featuring demos, live music, lawn games, a biergarten and beer-and-pickle pairings for ID-carrying adults, food trucks, all manner of pickled and fermented goods for sale, a home pickling competition and more. We’re hungry just thinking about it. Fifty percent of each ticket sold benefits local nonprofit Future Chefs, so there’s really no reason not to get pickled when the Boston Pickle Fair heads to the Innovation and Design Building on June 24.
