Colin Jost at The Wilbur

Colin Jost is much more than simply a dapper-suited torso on Saturday Night Live’s “Weekend Update” segment. At the start of his fourth season as co-anchor with Michael Che, Jost tackles the task of making the news funny—all while playing the straight man to the amorous advances of comic Leslie Jones and recurring characters like Cecily Strong’s Girl You Wish You Hadn’t Started a Conversation with at a Party. The Staten Island native and Harvard alum started at SNL as a writer in 2005, but the funnyman pushes back from the anchor desk to take to the stage when he drops by the Wilbur on Oct. 28. / Nathan Tavares
