There’s nothing funny about the hard work of stand-up comedy. But paying his dues is paying off for Al Park, who is one of the hardest working dudes in the local game. Having braved mics on nearly every stage in town, Park recently graduated to the national scene after winning both the Boston and Cleveland Comedy Festivals and making it to the finals in Seattle’s International Comedy Competition with a style that mixes sharp observation and plenty of self-deprecation. Park has a packed summer tour schedule that includes a host of gigs around town—catch him while you can.
