This monthly comedy night is booked blind, which means that not even hosts Jackie Arko and Hannah Foell have a clue what’s going to go down. Held on the third Thursday of every month, the Kerfuffle is a mix of sketch comedy, stand-up, monologues and interactive madness. Participating acts are given a loose theme, but what they choose to do with their stage time is up to them. At a recent edition, audience members were treated to a screening of an awkward “sex tape” from a real-life comedic couple and plucked from the crowd to participate in a game show that had contestants identifying subtle differences between recordings of “farts” and “queefs.” If it all sounds slightly unhinged, it is, but in the best way possible.
