Wednesday feels like the weekend if you’re partying with Louie Bello. The R&B/pop/soul singer won a 2014 Boston Music Award for his wildly popular residency at Abby Lane, and this spring he moved his kick-ass midweek concert series to Bostonia Public House. He’s also toured nationally, playing sets at SXSW and other fests—but we like Bello best when he’s rocking out in Boston, where he’s been a longtime supporter of the local music scene and the city at large, with his hand in events like a benefit concert for first responders and a day job jamming with kids as a Boston Public Schools music teacher.
