Boston, lest you haven’t noticed, takes sports seriously. The great thing about the Rising, just opened in January, is that it takes everything else seriously too. There’s excellent Irish gastropub-inspired eats, especially the poutine-stuffed brunch menu. Draft lines are mostly dedicated to craft beers, and the wine list, not typically a priority at a sports bar, offers 30 quality bottles at $30. Finally: a spot that even non-fans won’t mind going to on gamedays.
