The 0.1 percent-set lolls prettily amid the flattering, literally golden glow of Gold Bar, the posh little lounge that Barbara Lynch installed last summer in her ultraluxe French restaurant Menton. Craft cocktails in the tradition of sibling Drink are complemented by elegant nibbles like Osetra caviar, local oysters and a cheeky foie gras frankfurter. Be careful with the exquisitely delicate stemware into which Gold Bar decants your 2001 Château Durfort-Vivens Margaux; it probably costs as much as that rarified wine ($45).
