In the lofty tradition of the Venetian bacaro, sexy South End newcomer SRV offers a sweet selection of cicchetti, inexpensive bar snacks that pair fittingly with a glass of Soave or nebbiolo. While it’s hard to beat the salty crunch of nervetti fritti (deep-fried beef tendon dusted with cheese, the Doge of Venezia’s noble answer to fried pork rinds), it is SRV’s perfectly soft-boiled quail egg speared with a briny, tender white anchovy that we ordered by the dozen and will return for again and again.
