In a divisive political season, scarfing pizza for social justice is a call to action everyone can get behind. Dudley Dough opened in the Bruce C. Bolling building, a cornerstone of the multimillion-dollar revitalization effort in underserved Roxbury’s Dudley Square. Operated by the nonprofit Haley House, it offers guests health-minded pizzas and salads—and offers its staff, many from underemployed communities, living wages through a cooperative profit-share model that lets everyone earn a fair slice of the pie.
