This kitsch-happy diner’s Cambridge location was known for brunch lines out the door; the just-opened Back Bay iteration, though, lures us on the other side of the clock. In a city with limited late-night dining, Toast’s 3 am closing time is a miracle. Booze stops flowing at midnight, but the kitchen continues to deliver awesomely inventive hot sandwiches, burgers and all-day breakfast to the ravenous craws of post-bar crowds. One word: Nom.
