A stone’s throw from the Orient Heights T stop is this versatile combination of dark, atmospheric bar and sunny, casual restaurant serving traditional Colombian dishes in enormous portions at sweet prices. Even the “mini” version of the classic bandeja plate—small steak, big strip of chewy/crisp/ tender chicharrones, fried egg, avocado, plantains, rice, beans and corn cakes—is staggering, and a gentle $12.50. Tossing back a crisp, light Cerveza Aguila or two won’t hurt a bit, either.
