Local Flavor

2017 Winner: 1630

You won’t find plush lobsters or Boston baked beans at this charming shop, which stands out amid a sea of more tourist-focused options at Faneuil Hall. Don’t get us wrong: Named for the year the city was founded, 1630 is packed with potential souvenirs, but most are vintage finds or made by local artists. And between Victorian postcards, MBTA token cufflinks and barnacle-covered treasures found in Boston Harbor, the goods tend to attract locals as well.
