Lauren Methia’s job is to document the big day, but she says it’s the small moments that count— and her own experience as a recent bride informs her approach. “I always remind my couples, especially during sunset portraits when they have a few minutes to step away, to really soak it all in,” Methia says. “The day flies by!” An unobtrusive presence, she blends into the background of the festivities, but couples will find her signature touch in organic, whimsical images that perfectly capture the light.
