For a moment, this Charlestown address had a bit of an identity crisis: Two years ago, restaurant owner Samar Naamad revamped his North African eatery, the seemingly successful Tangierino, as a Moroccan-French hybrid. It felt muddled. Crystal-clear, though, is the success of its transformation to Madera 83, a full conversion to Spanish small plates. The croquetas, albondigas and other taberna-apropos fare are a fantastic change of pace, making us forget the old memories to build new ones.
