Bodies in Water

The deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum dives deep into its permanent collection for Bodies in Water, a showcase of photographs from contemporary artists that use water as a tool for exploring pressing social and political issues, from our dependence on the invaluable resource to its role in refugee crises past and present. The exhibition includes works from nearly 20 artists, including Melissa Ann Pinney’s saturated portrait Lake Michigan, above, created from a scanned color negative and Edward Weston’s 1939 silver gelatin print Nude Floating. Go test the water through March 11. / Julia Aparicio
