If a picture is worth a thousand words, then we’re betting that the ones on display in MassArt’s DRAW/Boston write one hell of a memoir. The new exhibit compiles personal sketches from more than 40 artists from around the globe to explore their creative processes and most intimate thoughts. Originally curated for Beijing’s Inside/Out Museum, the exhibit also features Demonstration Drawings, an interactive, live mural by Argentinian artist Rirkrit Tiravanija that explores hot-button political issues. Visitors are welcome at weekly group drawing nights in the galleries, so take a peek inside the artists’ sketchbooks for inspiration when the exhibit makes its North American debut at MassArt from Jan. 23 toMarch 4.
