Gender Bend: Women in Wood, Men at the Loom

Expectations are remolded with the Fuller Craft Museum’s latest exhibition, Gender Bend: Women in Wood, Men at the Loom, which weaves its way open on Oct. 21. The multimedia show gives space to artists traditionally underrepresented in their craft by featuring work by female wood turners and male weavers, including retired doctor turned tapestry artist Klaus Anselm’s “New York New York,” a woven tribute to the glow and geometry of America’s most populous city. Bend your perceptions at the Fuller Craft Museum through March 11. / Hannah McKennett
