'Paradise'

Underground Railway Theater is putting science and faith under the microscope in Paradise. Presented in collaboration with MIT, the drama follows Yasmeen, a Muslim-American teenager in the Bronx with a passion for science, and her biology teacher Dr. Royston, a former researcher who’s been forced to leave the lab for a high school classroom. The pair form an unlikely partnership, but an experiment investigating adolescent romance soon becomes a catalyst for conflict. Catch the world premiere of the timely two-hander at Central Square Theater, where Paradise plays through May 7.
