After originating the role of Christine Daaé in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical The Phantom of the Opera, Sarah Brightman beat a path through the music industry. Transitioning away from theater, the songbird has released 12 studio albums since 1988 that bridge pop and classical and she’s also collaborated with legends like Andrea Bocelli between her world tours. Now, Brightman’s on the road supporting her latest release, Hymn, her first studio album since 2013’s Dreamchaser. The English star’s newest music echoes the classical crossover style of her earlier records, showcasing the high notes for which the soprano became famous.
