On Thursday, Oct. 6, hundreds gathered at the Prudential Center’s Barnes & Noble for a reading and book signing by local author Chris Edwards to celebrate the release of his hilarious and heartwarming memoir, BALLS: It Takes Some to Get Some. A portion of all proceeds of book sales goes to Camp Aranu’tiq, a summer camp and safe haven for transgender youth. With the help of event planner Maureen Norman, Edwards hosted an after-party at Storyville, complete with ball-shaped food and decor and a themed drink made with Stoli Blueberry vodka called “Blue Balls.”
