Seaport office workers have seen their breakfast prospects greatly improved by the first brick-and-mortar location of Better Bagels, whose perfectly calibrated carb wheels—a little toothy on the outside, soft on the inside—may finally quiet our sneering New York pals. We still look forward to pop-up appearances at restaurants such as Coppa, where inventive schmears, like avocado-chili spread and whipped butter with bottarga, always bait long lines of early risers. Better? Nah. They’re the best.
