Executive chef at Strip T’s and executive chef & owner at Ribelle
Hobbies: Work is my hobby. But I’ve just started taking pottery classes, which I love.
Special skill: I can fucking roast a mean chicken.
Best trait: Dedication. But I’ve been told by some women that they’re jealous of my eyelashes.
Proudest achievement: Opening a rather large restaurant and living to tell about it.
Craziest thing he ever did for love (or lust): In high school, I rigged an MP3 player to play a song for a girl when she opened her locker. It took a lot of favors to be able to get into her locker.
On a first date: I like to be completely candid about every facet of my life, leaving nothing for later, just to be certain no one is wasting their time.
Pet peeve: If we go out to dinner and she asks for salt before tasting the food.
Sweet spot: There’s one bench in particular on the Charles River, outside of Harvard Square, during twilight.
What romantic prospects need to understand about the restaurant business: We have to be there on holidays, special events and late nights. The people I work with are family, so you’d better find a way to get along with them.
