On March 10, WGBH set the stage at its Brighton studios for A Masquerade Inspired by Masterpiece’s Victoria, Season 2. Two hundred guests took a cue from the long-running biography of Queen Victoria, donning their best hoop skirts and frock coats for an evening of dancing led by Commonwealth Vintage Dancers, lectures on Victorian culture, series-inspired bites and a costume contest. The event raised $15,000.
