The Charles River Watershed Association hosted its Champions of the Charles Gala on Nov. 2 at the Museum of Science, where president and director Ioannis Miaoulis and chair of the board of trustees Gwill York accepted the event’s titular award on behalf of the museum. The dinner and auction featured a buffet by Wolfgang Puck Catering, and the evening’s more than 200 guests helped raise nearly $200,000 to continue CRWA’s ongoing work monitoring and protecting the Charles River.
