Chef/owner Michael Scelfo’s “Secret Burger” is hardly hush-hush. At this point the patty—available nightly in limited quantities—is practically a bona fide Boston-area icon. False advertising aside, it deserves its fame. Even after he introduced a strong contender for its crown, a similarly scarce “WP Burger” at sibling spot Waypoint, we keep going back to Alden for Scelfo’s signature Creekstone grind of brisket, short rib and beef plate. We bow to the burger king.
