The local chapter of the American Cancer Society prepared for this fall’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk, unveiling its first Real Men Wear Pink campaign on Aug. 18 with a party at Brooks Brothers’ Newbury Street boutique. Family, friends and supporters joined the 28 local participants, who will wear pink every day of October and have pledged to raise at least $2,500. Ten percent of the evening’s sales were donated to the campaign.
