The Asian Task Force Against Domestic Violence (ATASK) hosted its 23rd annual Silk Road Gala on Nov. 5 at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum. The event featured chef stations from area restaurants, a silent auction and cultural performances, and the 350 guests raised more than $200,000 for advocacy services, outreach and education programs for Pan-Asian survivors of domestic violence and their families.
