The fashion-focused shenanigans continued with the Big Sisters’ annual Project Role Model runway show, held at the Fairmont Copley Plaza.

Cocktails and a silent auction were followed by the presentation of designs by local female designers, emceed by flawless TV anchor Lisa Hughes and modeled by such notables as Project Runway winner Erin Robertson, celebrity chef Tiffani Faison, police commissioner William Gross and handsome weatherman Eric Fisher (who came straight from jury duty). The show was bookended by a fabulous flamenco performance by Sabrina Aviles and a sneak peek at New York-based couturier Michael De Paulo’s new collection.

Among the bold-faced names in the audience: the evening’s honoree, Jane Deery, mega-supporters Lisa and Chris Collins and Amy and Mark Lund, Back Bay babe Maura Connolly, Nantucket Pied Piper Carlos Hidalgo, the debonair David Handy, diamond dealer Jennifer Kinsman, Boston’s answer to James Bond, Jas Bhogal, the flawless Evelyn Reyes Beato, Wellesley beauty Lisa Cutts Patten, the mother-daughter duo of Karen and Caroline Postal, brunette stunner Margaret McNeill, Renaissance woman Julie Betters, South Shore hipster Margaret Beatty and just about every other woman of substance within a 100-mile radius.

The evening’s most amusing exchange: “How are your boys?”
