With a name like the Quiet Few, you might expect this forthcoming eatery co-owned by Josh and Linsey Weinstein to be a study in restraint. The TQF burger, however, is proof of the over-the-top flavors you can expect to find in the East Boston spot’s spins on comfort foods. “I’m a huge fan of trying to find a ton of funky things that don’t normally work and somehow tie them together,” chef Scott Jensen, formerly of the Gallows Group, says of the burger that’s topped with fried mozzarella and bacon, with housemade French onion dip smeared on an El Salvadoran-style bun from neighboring Adela’s bakery. Sure, the toppings are a loud, salty, creamy delight, but the blend of ground chuck, brisket and short rib infused with whiskey and spices is the real star.
